burnt 2 quarts of oil in 3k miles ok?

i have a b16a2 running full synthetic castrol, rebuilt motor like 7k miles ago. i keep an eye on the oil contantly and i noticed i burned 2 quarts in 3k miles, is that normal? thats with hard driving conditions. please help

when you in vtec, your likely to be burning oil. So if your beating the **** out of it, then that might be about right
