I never thought I would have to make this post but what can I say....it just seems like Type R's are destined to be stolen. I went to Sacramento Raceway last night came home around 11:00pm. Later that night I went back outside and put my autolock on and my car cover on, which was around 12:00am. This was the last time I saw my car. I woke up around 6:00am for work only to find an empty parking spot. I called the police and the police report has been made...now all I can do is wait.

 

**** - how many is that in the past week? Sorry.

 

This has been a bad week it seems. Im really sorry to hear about your loss. I hope that some kinda miracle works out for you .

WTF!!! This is crazy!! It seems like someone rented a tow truck just to steal R's...It seems that way to me, is there anyway to prevent from getting sTOWlen..

Keep me posted and let me know if there's anything you need me to do.....also, get a freakin alarm for the hatch now!!!! I'd go around and ask your neighbors, or people in the complex if they heard or saw anything....your car isnt a quiet car, especially w/ that n1, and if it were towed, some one had to of let them in through the gate at your complex......no security camera's at your place or anything? I'll call you when I get home from school! What a SAD Rainy DAY!!!!

Keep an eye out for this car.....except it had 15" black slipstreams w/ bfg drag radials in the front!!!!! There's also a small apexi sticker on the rear bumper right above where the muffler sits.........!

Man I know the feeling I have had two stolen from me my 2000 ek4 and 90 CRX Si. Then I go out and get a Type R...one of the most sought after imports around...I use that autolock on mine also. Is there a way to get that lock off the clutch without the key? I didn't think there would be. Sorry to hear that...they will find it I am sure but hope for the best but expect the worst. Stay up...

Someone mentioned in another post to start parking the car sideways at home .. soo it would be difficult to get behind/infront of the car with a tow truck ... but he lived in an apt .. soo doesnt look like that was an option /:

Theres not that much you can do unfortunately.

True. I think a garage with the car alarm armed and home security is a must if you want to keep your car safe..

 

jeesuz christ.. another one.. i'm really sorry for you loss man.. i hope everything works out.. sucks staying awake almost everynight watching out the window for any suspecting idiots in the alley (w/ an object aimed at them from a distance).
