I Just recieved a very sad phone call from one of my good friends (pyitr821) that his Yellow Type R was stolen between midnight and 6am this morning in Yuba City (which is 45 minutes north of Sacramento). It is very low to the ground, MINT condition, gunmetal itr wheels in the rear w/ azenis, 15" black slipstreams in the front w/ BFG Drag Radials, only 2 front black itr seats inside, DC jdm 4-1, smsp high flow cat, and apexi n1 cat back system. I believe it also had the ECU that I chipped in it right now!!! The rear bumper has a small apex-i sticker on the rear bumper right above where the muffler sits. Like I said, this itr is in MINT CONDITION! not even a scratch or dent anywhere! It was stolen in a gated apartment complex, autolocked, and car cover with a lock! If any of you have seen this car anywhere today in the norcal area or recognize anybody selling these particular parts, please call me 510-299-8558 or call him 530-514-1753 (Both our names are Jason)!

Damn bro, tell him I'm sorry to hear it.
I know the feeling, hopefully they'll recover it in good condition.
Good luck to him.

Sadly there is so many forum postin up fo stolen car look out...i'll keep my eyes open fo all them that were post tho..
Damn... Another teg lost to the ******* thugs... I dunno what to say - I must have read like 2 billion "stolen teg" threads while here at h-t... This is so obserd. Why don't we do something about it?
Damn those thieves knew what they were doing. Do you think it could have been flatbedded?
Wish I could get a crew together to setup a sting operation and use a modified ITR as "bait" and just wait for some of these a-holes to come along. It's almost guaranteed we would catch some.

Sounds like it was planned out and not just a random hit. Might want to look into locals who you may have seen quite a bit lately or other things that may have looked somewhat suspicious or out of place but you didn't think twice of, like people in the same apt complex who know people that know some people that rob people (no joke intended here because I've seen it as being the case), depending on where the car was driven around lately. Sucks to hear about it.... was a clean looking car.
I'm not going to give away here (for theives lurking and security reasons) but autolocks and immobilizers aren't that difficult to get around of if you know what needs to be done. Even still, you're not safe these days and it sucks having to watch over your shoulder to make sure your Honda is still there

Ever wonder about those artifical reef's in the ocean?
When we were emptying out our pond, we found the chasis of an old buick(i think)(wasnt stolen, i guess lost?).
Start going to some chop shops, mark some pieces in your teg...i saw a rerun of home improvement today where brads mustang got stolen, and they found it out by the valve cover(i think) from where Al dripped jelly from a donut in it...always a suggestion

Why dont you all install a Clutch Retard Button?????
I did that for my uncle's car and he lives in Orange County, CA. His car got broken in couple of times but they can't start the car since the clutch was inactive.
my 2 centz.
