use http://www.world.altavista.com

and translate it.. it won't give you whp, and car perfomance tho. i think the nsx-r (2nd gen) is the most enigmatic car in japan as of now.

only assumptions can be made, also with bmv (best motoring videos) and "some" car reviews will give you what the car truly is.

A subset of this content is available in English here:

http://world.honda.com/NSX/

As azndng stated, the HP and torque figures are not stated, but most would agree that the engine makes a slightly more power than the stock 3.2L.

Ha! I thought CW thought that it didn't! I am sure that I remember reading that the R engine was a bit more powerful.

i heard the nsx-r is supposed to be somewhere around 640whp stock, just wanted to know exact specs. im surprised websites dont even have specs for the "most enigmatic car" in japan. annoys me when you can find illegal government things with the blink of an eye on the web but not even the performance specs of one of the favorite cars of japan. thanks guys for the help

That’s a new one. I assure you it’s nowhere near 640WHP. A little more than a normal 3.2L (perhaps 300 HP at the crank) would be my guess. Also, by definition, it would be hard to be the “most enigmatic car” in Japan, if specs were readily available.

Lmao, you people are funny. The engine of this car was not touched, just carbon fiber parts all around and alot of weight reduction.

i have seen vidoes and read a bunch of info but it was all like ayear ago and i cant be more specific with the specs.

but one thing i read said that the engine was unchanged yet several other thing that i read said that it was race tuned to deliver 300 hp (at the flywheel)

jae di em,
who ever told you 640hp is full of crap

the main difference is the tranny, it has a shorter final drive that takes away from the top end nocking it down to about 165 instead of 170 something, but it benefits the car in acceleration. i've heard that it runs 12.8 in the quarter from a magazine i read a while back

a lot of people say that the nsx is not that fast but i have vidoes of stock nsx s- zeros running 13.0 and some change. the type r has a slightly different tranny and a couple hundred lbs lighter. thats all over the 12's if you ask me.

2800 lbs is the curb weight

in case you don't know that is s2000 weight with a 300 hp engine

NSX-R looks mean! I saw a silver NSX acoupleofdays ago, damn I forgot how nice those things look! Ive seen 1994 NSX all options sell at auction in japan with less than 20 or 30k miles. on the clock for around £30,000 UK, So that would be about 35k after conversion, shipping, docking and import tax here. Man I'm gonna have to work my business and get it launched and making some money!
