why does he want to trade?

I think the JG manifold is more suited for turbo setups, or highly modified all motor set ups. I dont think anyone ever really did a comparison on a mostly stock motor.

My understanding of the JG manifold is that it was suited for higher RPM performance, primarily all motor? I could be, and probably am wrong, but thats what I've heard and seen.

Ill chime in on this because i just put a victor X on my C5 motor in my EK.... I am planning to boost in the next month so I put it on... If you are not planning on boosting, dont trade with him... The things I noticed... It has better throttle response at the very split second of the t/b opening, 2500-5000 is about the same as stock, after 5000 and in vtec the power difference is noticible being that its not as aggressive to redline. The JG is made for high RPM ranges, i.e not stock redline... And if you care, with the JG, vtec isnt as mind blowing loud to the passing cars keep the stock ITR, trust me

Im running the JG manifold on my R, but didnt get a chance to do a before/after comparison. My car easily makes power past 9K. I would guess it works pretty good for serious all motor set ups, like I said earlier

i have a turbo setup. he was sc before and is loosing the sc so he wants to do an even up trade.

so it seems theres a few views, some say good for na some say good for boost. i think it should be good for either, ill have to do more research, but i think ill end up doin it.

If you are boosting, then I dont even think its a question whether which is better. I dont have a dyno chart, but JG claims 40hp increase on a turbo GSR.
