shortshifter adapter for 92-96 prelude to 90 accord?

shortshifter adapter for 92-96 prelude to 90 accord?
any body tried putting on a 92-96 prelude shortshifter adapter on a 90-93 accord? some ppl in here say the short shifter fits but wat about the shorshifter adapter? anybody know? thanks

email him about it....itll fit on the car and work fine, but because its designed for the 5th gen accord (94-97) + 4(?) gen Prelude (92-96), it apparently sits ridiculously low on 4th gen accords.....

short shifter adapters for 94 accord and 92-96 preludes are like 20$ thats why i wanna know if it fits so i dont have to buy da 100$ short shifter or adapter .

no it won't fit!
actually, it will fit but it won't clear the console. I have a 93 prelude shift lever in my 91 accord and ordered an adapter for the prelude, but upon installation it won't fit under the console! And the adapter would sit higher on the accord shift lever, so there is no way it would fit...

What some have done to remedy this is to take the shifter base plate rubber bushings and put them on the top side which drops the base plate enough to clear most shifters. You may also need to trim a little on the bottom of the console.

yep, i remember reading that. Too bad I read that after I sold my ss adapter.
The prelude shifter sits so low in my console now I would have to get my Go Go Gadget Arms on to shift if I did that.
