Hi All,

I have a 97 5th gen lude and I've found that from about 3500 to 5000 rpm just before Vtec kicks in, something in both my doors seem to rattle. It's more of a metal rattling sound(If that makes sense).

I was just wondering if anyone had the same problem and if so what they did to fix it. I haven't taken the door apart yet because i've been just too damn busy at work and lazy on the weekends.

So if anyone can help please reply. thanks

 

just pull off the door panel and wiggle **** till you find out what is making the noise and take it from there

 

dude, check if you have any CDs in the little side pocket thingys...No lie, i had rattling too, i was all scared and was ready to rip the doors out, turns out it was some CDz just sitting in the pocket thing... just food for thought...

 

I have the same problem on my 98 SH ...I don't know what it is but it annoys the hell out of me. If you figure something out, let me know

Also - I have ripped off my door and found nothing loose or moving around, and I drive around with nothing in the "little side pocket thingies"

 

I have the same exact thing in my h22 civic, ugh, it's so annoying.

 

Do you have an OEM body kit? A couple of the bolts on my driver side skirt are coming loose and is making an annoying rattling noise.

 

nah no body kit. Gonna be ripping the doors of this weekend. will let you know how i go guys.
