anyoen seen the f20s swapped into the lotus elise?
before anyone gets started, i know the elise is mid engine rwd...but a company made a custom bell housing to bolt the k20 6 speed up to the f20 motor. very interesting stuff...
one thing that i think would be interesting, is for someone to make a custom bell housing allowing the k20a to be bolt up to a f20c, basically so u could use a k20 in a s2000. you can definetly coax a lot more power for a lot less money out of the k20...have you people seen what a toda header can do? this is the setup before the header: hondata K-Pro with ITR flash(full stand alone), ITR cams, Greddy EVO ver.1, Power Neo, and AEM CAI. These mods were on the first run. The cars second run of course had these mods, plus the Toda header.

honda really did good w/ the k20...i honestly like it a lot more than the f20c, not nearly as peaky...and, as i said earlier, can produce a hell of a lot more power than the f20. now...only if there were some kind of custom bell housing made to make this possible...

It's been done before, I've seen a F20C powered elise at the track. The point you bring up is correct, the K series is easier to make power out of but I wouldn't go through all that trouble to swap out for a K series engine. The internals on the F20C are a tad bid more robust, remember we're comparing stock vs stock.

very tru...stock for stock, f20c all the way. but in the aftermarket world, which most of us dwell in...k20 hands down, anyday of the week...including sunday. with stock internals i guess these motors can pull something like 250 whp? thats amazing...thats damn near 300 flywheel hp...294 w/ 15% drivetrain loss...thats just wow

An F20c has never been installed in an Elise to my knowledge. There are lots of B18's in them and the new item is the K20.
No one has built a trans to make the F20 conversion work. People have talked about it, but I have yet to see one.

If it is the video of two Exige being compared, then yeah. Honda powered Exige had engine sound so identical to our S2000 engine.
