Need help identifing a motor

I am looking a purchasing a new EG and the current owner says there is a JDM d15 w/ vtec in the car. Could anyone verify this?

The motor code stamped on the block is:
d15b (there is no 1 behind the b)
2086050

Is this a true JDM motor?

if there are no numbers behind it then it is jdm

Also look for a vtec solinode on the head.
