hit the bottom with a hammer, keep the castle nut on so u dont jack the threads, dont get too angry...

your other option is a ball joint seperator fork which u basically wedge in there and hit it in so it pries it out. you will most likely rip the boot tho if you do this.

if a puller doesnt work your going to hav to use a pickle fork. i know of no other method.

use a sledge and get the car up as high as you can, that might help.

If you use a puller then make sure to leave the nut on there or the bolt will colapse where the holes are for the carter pin.

Yep, it should work. leave the strut connected for less movement. I Have the tools to pull it apart but still use a BFH everytime.

Hit it like a homerun in the bottom of the 9th! Easiest way that I've found.

If you have the MAC/honda tool it will come out in 2 seconds. the tool does cost $160 but its so worth it with all the time you save. Its one of the best tools Ive owned and you dont damage your ball joints one bit like you would with a fork.

Hahah, Is it any good? 'Draper' do a near identical tool for just under £10 Sterling!

And damn I wouldnt touch creditcardz with a barge pole! I stick to debit/cash cards and hardcash. So much simpler

hahaha, I hear ya.

I don't keep balances though...so it's actually cheaper to use CC than cash (I get cashback on my purchases).
