Default removing the 'acura' badge from the back... integra specific.

Hey. Im pretty new here, and I cant post in the appearance/cosmetic section.
I searched for a post about this, and i found nothing. So...

I know the acura caliper badge in the center is held on by screws or something and there are holes behind it. I really like the look of having a honda 'H' there, so I wanted to put one in its place. (chrome one, since its not itr). Well it would look retarded if i had the honda 'H' there with 'acura' next to it, so i want to take it off.

Here's my question: is the 'acura' badge held on by screws or anything and will there be holes there afterwards, or is it just held on by glue and just the residue be taken off by goo be gone or something?

Thanks. Sorry if i broke a rule or something.

both the "A" and "Acura" are both held on by blue.. but there are also holes behind it. if u take some dental floss just runn it behind it will come right off.. then get an "H" and "Honda" from like a civic or accord.. thats what i did

I think it's just adhesive, use some floss or string and glide that under the emblem to take it off, then just use some paint-safe adhesive remover (goo gone) or wax. I think they have a how-to on http://www.team-integra.net or g2ic.com

that will definitely work for the DOHC VTEC emblem, if there are holes under the acura badge, then i guess you could stick a honda on there like the above post says.

the pegs on the H badge don't line up for A emblem cars.. same for the acura i belive. so what u must do is cut the pegs off and sand it flat then use glue and line it up by eye and hold the ****** there till it sets. then don't touch it till it cures.

I just used strips of 3M emblem tape, been on there almost 2 years now w/o issues (for the H emblems). My HONDA emblem is also held on w/ a piece of 3M emblem tape. It's good stuff, thin and super sticky (strong).
