hey my buddy has a crx and he was been having a problem it will only let him go about 30 mph then shuts down. then it makes him wait till then engine cooles down to start again. any idea on what this might be?

 

well the engine is overheating...hmm...check your coolant n' put some more in. Maybe u have a blown headgasket?

 

Tell him to check the main relay. It may be going bad.

 

Does sound liek a coolant issue. What does your temp gauge look like when your doing all this??

also, do you smell any gas like lots of it...if so it may be an injector issue...are you throwing any codes?


Are you spitting out alot of white smoke? or alot of smoke at all for that reason?
