What is a 92 SI COMPRESSION supposed to be on each cylinder?
I am gonna guess high 180+ psi on each cylinder, but I don't drive an H23, but the key is to have constant numbers throughout the cylinders.
Make sure the auto tranny is in good shape. Check the radiator and make sure there isn't a crack right near the lid (that is a most common place for these radiators and it can be spendy to put a new radiator in unless you do it yourself). See if you can get receipts on timing belt/water pump if they were done. If you hear a lot of ticking noise while it's at idle then it needs a valve adjustment. There's a cam seal that has a tendency to leak on the rear left side of the valve cover if you're looking at the engine from the front.
Obviously, the car's used and it will have its problems. However, that doesn't mean you shouldn't buy it! If you see some of the above problems and point them out, use the problems to get a better deal on the car.
