Default Adding a motion sensor

I have the Viper 350HV and it its internal motion sensor is not sensitive enough. Can I add an external motion sensor from Viper? Also, would it be possible to wire that in conjunction with a proximity sensor, but break one of the wires on it with a switch so I dont have to use it all the time?

With what you are wanting to do, I would recommend using a Viper 550 or higher, The proximity sensor would not be able to put on a switch, but you can bypass zones if you need to with the 550. Honestly though the proximity sensor is probly more trouble then it is worth, falling leaves, big bugs, and even the wind sometimes can set it off.

Ok, so as far as the external motion sensor, can I wire one into my 350HV?

Yes, You can add an additional "shock" sensor to your viper 350, I'm not sure of the part number, if you give me a day or two I can get it for you, or just give your local Viper dealer a call

yeah that should work, just make sure it actually does both Tilt and Motion, I really don't think you need a motion sensor though, It really does end up being more trouble than it's worth. I honestly would just find a second shock sensor.

Ok, bump on this.

But now I need to add two more sirens. I upgraded to the six tone Revenger from DEI but its still not loud enough. Some ******** jacked my radar detector and my alarm went off, I was 30 feet away in Wendys and didnt even hear it. I want to add one more to the exterior and another into the interior if they decide to jack something that takes alittle more time.

So my question is can my brain supply enough power to three sirens? Or do I need to use relays or something and power them directly off my battery?

You can hook up them all up to the output of the siren, but it might eventually burn the output out, the best way to do it is to run the output for the siren (brown wire on most DEI's) to a relay and use the relay to trigger the other sirens, I'll try to find a diagram of some pics to help show what I'm talking about, it's kinda hard to explain with out showing..

Look Around the Net.. I got a few Sirens at 140db, you don wanna be in my car when sirens go off... Look around they also may Air raid type sirens for cars... I found one that was rated for 150 Db @ 10 Feet what if it was in the car.... some ears are gonna be busted..

Btw yes you do need Relays...
