Default coil overs without shocks? Good idea?

There's a couple companies out there selling fairly inexpensive coil overs. Cosmo Racing, for example, sells a double spring kit for only 150 Dollars. I won't need it for racing, mostly for looks. I've got a 90 Accord with body kit. Will the springs be firm enough so that I don't need new shocks to go along with the coil overs?
Also, how hard will the installation be. Can I do it myself?
Thanks, Indy

you get what you pay for... thats all i gotta say...

if you are knowledgable and have the proper tools you can install them yourself...if you dont know what you are doing...dont try... ull hurt urself.

get new struts with those coilovers...they will provide for a better ride.

after you read the basic guide, and you have some follow up questions then fire away! i cant stress how important it is to the ride quality to upgrade your struts when lowering your vehicle. thats it im out

if ur gonna get "stand alone" coilovers....the ONLY ones worth the money are the Ground Control brand (uses eibach springs....)

PLEASE read the GUIDE TO BASIC ACCORDS

because the stock shock is built to control the stock/oem spring's damper and rebound cycle, which most likely none of the aftermarket spring(or worst, coilover) carry that same spring rate.

or in my ghetto term, it's gonna be hella bouncy
