tire ?
Hey guys....I want to find the nobbiest tires I can for my Accord. I love mud, so I want to get the best traction that I can. I know this sounds cheesy, but o well. I ran a search and couldn't find anything....Any suggestions? And how big can I go safely?

I have my 4x4 already...you'd be surprised what a honda can do though. I've put this car through some crazy stuff....anyone ever been out to Prairie City?? I have a 4x4 f-250, and a 4x4 Bronco, so don't sweat on that...I just want to see what kind of tires I can put on my honda to get a little better mud performance.....

lmao, no kidding. Just sell the Honda. It's not gonna be a mud-vehicle.

sounds like a good idea to me...oh wait... i also thought going down a hill in a shopping cart at about 40 MPH and hitting a curb straight on and flying into a bush about 10 feet away was a good idea too...

Mickey Thompson Super Swampers eh? lmao!
Yes I am serious bout getting bigger tires for my Honda. And experience has "possessed" me to make it a mudding "vehical". I know you guys are probably thinking "stupid newb", but hey, don't knock it till you've tried it. I have mudded my honda and with the FWD difference from RWD, it's actually quite fun tryin something different once in awhile.
I am serious in my questions: what is the biggest size tire I can run on my accord safely (so it doesn't rub), and are there any that I can fit on it stock w/o a "3-4 inch lift".

not saying you a noob or anything, in fact i dont care.
but if you are that serious about driving your vehicle in mud, you know you shouldnt do it with a honda to begin with.
there's why there's 4x4, 4wd solid axle stuff you can get.
i dont know how, and i cant image how anyone can navigate
a underpowered FWD front engine family car in deep mud/slum
BUT that's my opinion, which is pretty much useless most of the time, huh? yep.
anyhow, i really cant think of any radical passenger car tire would off that kinda of capability with this little room(stock accord, i assume)

Why is everyone chewing away at this guy? If a Fiat Punto can be a rally car, and if an Acura Integra can be a rally car, if a Nissan SE-R can be a rally car, why can't an Accord do just as well? The balance is good, best honda-torque, decent size. I think you'll need it raised and lightened, followed by Falken RS01D rally tires, which have a nice level of gravel and rock protection but are fairly poor in the snow. For snow you'll probably need something like Bridgestone Blizzaks.

that would be nice to see. you really need to modify it more though. take some pictures. i would like to see the accord in a rally field
