TEIN RA & HA owners.. a couple of questions for ya..
3 things..
1) Anyone know the warranty on the RA's from TEIN? lifetime warranty etc? I have a used set that needs some servicing on the rear shocks...
One shock has a damper dial problem. I turn the dial and it keeps turning - there's no clicking effect like there is on the other 3 shocks and it wont stop either. Usually, you can turn the dial left or right about 2x clicks & you'll get to a stopping point....not on this one I have.
The other shock has a seized spring perch! I can't loosen or tighten it at all. I Completely disassembled the shock. The damn perch (not the locking) perch, will not budge at all..I've tried numerous things.
I think Tein can fix these problems - i hope.
That's what I get for buying used RA's from the east coast...
2) Any HA owners want some stiffer TEIN springs? I have a pair of RA rear springs I'll trade for some HA rear springs. Hit me up if you wanna trade...
3) Any of you RA owners have the layout of how the pillowball mounts, washers and spacer configuration is suppose to be? or a scan of the actual RA instructions pamplet of how to put the suspension together?
thanks..

Buddy bought a set a while back. One was phucked, shipped it to Japan and it returned in less than a week and a half. He was pleased. Might be worth a shot if you could come up w/ some type of a receipt.

I'm interested in trading for your stiffer springs, but first what is your front and rear spring rates! Mines are the following: Front-8 and Rear-6, but I'll double check on that tonight in the manual.
Cal - Who first thougth that the HA were stiff, but now decides to going stiffer! It's going to be a ruff ride!

I want to trade my REAR RA springs only - and keep the fronts.
The JDM TEIN site says that DC2-R RA's have:
front 14.0K / 10.0K rear spring rates.

You want the entire thing or just the pillow-ball config?
I have it.

aluminum body shocks are $150~$250 per shock depending on the valving. It cost 90000jpy to overhaul all four of my old Tein N1's with a rough surface(street) valving job.
