Default problems with my R , help :(

ok i got some problems lately with my R :

first , when i change from 1st -> 2nd below 4000rpm , it feels kinda notchy, its not grinding or anything but when it goes into 2nd , it makes metal to metal noise and the shift doesnt feel too smooth.

second, this one got something to do with cornerning, lately seems like im getting body roll more than before, i havent change anything on the suspensions area
it just that when i have to take a corner , before i dont have to put too much effort , but now i have to steer the steering wheel more to take the same corner same speed , are my suspensions fucked ?

thanks guys

Check the transmission fluid.

As far as handling check the tire pressure. When I picked my ITR last week I felt it "rolled" more than I expected. I checked the pressure on my ES100's and they varied from 23-27 on all 4 LMAO. Went with 35F, 33R and it made a huge difference.

These are exactly the same as what I'd suggest.

Change the tranny fluid to Honda MTF if not done so already after checking to see the proper level was there right now.

And tire pressures are absolutely the first thing I'd look at after deciding if the tires are still in decent enough condition IE worn, damaged whatnot. Besides just getting under the car and poking and prodding around to see if everything is where it's supposed to be.

Good luck

Consider changing tranny fluid even if level is OK.

Some folks seem to have good luck with the GM Syncromesh fluid.

What are you using currently? Others have had bad luck with some fluids such as Redline, but some have had good luck with it(?)

How many miles on your R tranny?

John
