Well I just got back and after waiting two and a half weeks to use my friends shop.. it painted, well the engine bay and interior...
All BASE CLEAR coat,, even 4 coats of clear on the inside!!!!

When I got her: 3 MONTHS AGO


After about 50 hours: LOTS OF SANDING



Add another 12 hours: ZINC PRIMMED RAD SUPPORT WELDED



Umm 15 hours later: PRIMMED AND PREPPED ENGINE BAY AND INTERIOR


5 hours later: NICE BASE COAT/CLEAR COAT,, look at that shine!



Time to assemble.... then off the body shop for the outside!!!

are you doing the work(painting, body work, etc) yourself or having a shop do it? I cant imagine how much money this project would cost if you werent doing it yourself.

Will it be built close to factory specs? Or are you going to try something crazy?

 

what do you mean by factory specs??? the motor will be a Liquid supercharged B18C5.... recaro seats,,, different mags...
but for the most part its still gonna be factory!!

but i think ill be one of the few with a clear coated engine bay!! BLING BLING
