JDM Integra Black Housing headlights
The question is has anyone painted their JDM Integra headlights from chrome to black housing? Anyone that has please post suggestions and tips.....I'm thinking about doing so but worry about the outcome of messing up the most wanted JDM conversion in the states to date...

One of my friends had the chrome ones and did paint them. He did all this before the car underwent the conversion, so he had time to do everything carefuly. There is a post about someone painting thier civic headlights you can follow the same instructions to do yours.

why didnt you just buy the black housing ones in the first place...
bake the headlights for 15 mins, take them out, pull them apart, cool, sand and paint, put them together and bake for 15, pull out, push together really REALLY hard, then re-apply sealant stuff for safety. and ya done.
if you painted them a darker chrome, like ctr lights, i think that would look cooler than black.

I know I bought the front end without any say on the color of the headlights, thanx for the advice though!
