looking to make 375 whp off 18psi..will this do it??
built h22 9:1 comp
forged internals
turbo t3/t4b 57trim stage 3 exhaust wheel .63a/r
aem ems
720ccinjectors x 4
255 fuel pump
aem fuel pressure regulator
also will the turbo be in its efficency range??? at 18psi
thanks

i'd get bigger turbo..i run 60-1...t04s .70 a/r compressor, t3 .82 a/r turbine...im going for 500, i'd go w/.63 a/r turbine 60-1...rest looks good for a ruff list
i already have all of the above stuff...
and am just about broke...
so i am going to tune on that turbo...
plus i like quick spool
just want to know if it will produce 375+whp on 18psi
and if it is efficient at 18psi..
BTW fastludeh22...what gen prelude you got???

how much can u run the boost up to on a block that sleeved, forged pistons, billet cams, forged rods, stainless valves, ya know the basic internal armor? cuz i nknow the stock block can handle 6psi but what about our built motors? i never herd anyone on how much they can run? sorry im still learning
boost pressure is irrevelent to power. its all about flow. set your hp goal then use the lowest boost to achieve it. rember pressure is a resistance to flow.
not sure if you are gona do it wth the b housing.. imo, a 57trim t3/t04e 0.63a/r stage 5 wheel would probably work better for you at that power level.

i dont think the t3/t04b will do it , i have maxed out a t3/t04e 57 trim at 394whp on a car i did with 9:1 comp at 20psi

am not talking about my car , just a prelude i built at my shop stock drag 4 kit with hondata and 780cc injectors and probe rods and 87.5 je pistons and a set of my cams in a h23

so you were using an h23 head...
don't you think the h22 head will yield different (higher) numbers

was just informed that the compressor wheel is H-3
so the turbo specs are as follows:
t3/t4b comp wheel h-3, stage 3 exhaust .63a/r
if this makes any difference

i have about 5 sets of h23 cams i do trade in's with, i have a company i deal with that regrinds them for me to my specs, i have some mild and hot specs, ill be re-dynoing my car soon with the cams and the t4 60-1 , i have the hottest cams in mine but the other guy i have milds in his
but my car should make good power with a 22psi wastegate spring and high boost setting at 28psi

from what i have seen it really dont matter if you have any honda engine with the same turbo there going to max out around the same whp but one may take less boost to max out

375whp?? that would be great, let me know the outcome, i will let you know mine when i get to the dyno too. i have the same turbo size and kinda the same set-up

ya, my concern is th ehow small the turbo is, but you should be fine...
4th gen here, made 301 in daytona the other day on 3.6 cylinders and 10 psi
(180,260,260,260 compression test right before the dyno)

they say the turbo Max out at 47lbs/min so that's around 460hp and 368whp
so the only thing i cant tell you is the psi it will take to make that whp , and you really don't want to Max out a turbo it wont last long at that shaft speed
375whp may can be done but your really pushing it
