Default JDM Black Housing Headlights

The question is has anyone painted the chrome headlights off the JDM Integra headlights to black housing? I'm thinking about doing so and would like to hear from anyone that has done so, don't want to ruin the most wanted JDM conversion in the states to date...

Thanx!

Being that the headlights are part of the "most wanted JDM conversion in the states to date...", you shouldn't have a problem selling the headlights you have and buying the black housings *shrug*

Thanx for the sarcasm but like the post states if you haven't had any experience with the JDM Integra headlights itself please don't post.... Shaking head

I don't see any problem with doing that. Many guys with Civics have done it to their headlamps and not experienced any problems. Also, Mugen Mike, the chrome ones are generally cheaper so he would have to spend more money just to change the color (I think that's what he was getting at )

Take off the old ones and install new ones. No modification needed unless you running oem hid headlights.

Selling sir-g headlights is a bitch. Nobody wants them. I can understand why u want to take them apart. Just cook them like any other headlight, mask them, and silicone them back together with grey silicone. Same procedure man. There is nothing special about them.
