i recently installed an after market head and didn't like it. am now going to sell it and put in a new alpine. i need to reinstall the factory cd player for the time being.

now, i got all the paperwork with my car except the card with the cd player security code. is there any way to find out the code? if i go straight to a dealership, is there any way for them to give it to me?

i'm thinking by giving them the vin number, the serial number from the cd player and my key number.

is there any other method for retreiving it?

you either need the card with the password on it or you need to go to the dealership.
