you dont need cam gears.... if you get aftermarket cam gears, crower, skunk2, jun, whatever... then think about getting adjustable cam gears... adjusting stock cam gears is...well to put it nicely...dumb

If you have adjustable cam gears, every car is different. There is no exact setting for a type of car. Just adjust it and drive around if you dont have a dyno. Keep what feels right.

just drive around untill it feels right. Not quite. a cam gear needs to be dyno tunned by some that really knows what they're doing.

No ****. That was pissing me off trying to read his posts.

What engine do you have? If it's an F series, usually 2 degrees advanced is safe. If it's an H or B series, you can advance intake by 1 degree and retard the exhaust by 2 degrees. This way you are reaping the benefits of "scavenging".

obviously you havnt learned the obvious hints of ONLINE SARCASM. i do it a lot, so beware. if you really think its a good idea to adjust them that much, then you really need to search up jus a liiiiiiiiiiiil more than you have, which is more than likely not at all. search like crazy before you start asking questions, then ask away if you have any questions lingering about.
