If i were to buy a new key for 90-01 integras for my 98 GSR off ebay, could i have it copied from my standard keys, or are they electronic, where i'd need to take it to acura and have it burned and cut?

 

Not sure?? I thought that '98 has an immobilizer, so you have to get keys with the chip in them?

 

as long... you ecu does not read your immobilizer that is built into your ecu, you should be set to use whatever key you want.

but if you ecu reads the immobilizer.. example 00-01 gsr's.. you need to run an older ecu that does not have the immobilzer feature.


or have you current ecu chipped.
