no, it's a brand new harness and the engine was running in a crx before they took it out.

well not sure if its the problem but i think its better if u get an HF harness...since your car is an HF....i had a d16y7 (should be the same as the si) put in my Si wit an HF harness and i wouldnt get any sparks to the motor....i replaced it wit an Si harness and now my car starts perfectly..... i heard there are some different to the Si and HF harness..

Ok, there are two white wires by your dizzy plug. When I switched them around I got a code 15. Switched them back and the car started and code went away. I would check your wiring cause that sounds to me that that is the culprit. The ignitor is real easy to get to, just start taking apart your dizzy and you'll see this little square thing that says NEC on it. Replace it if your wiring is good. PM and let me know what happends.

it ran fine in an si, will swapping with my hf harness onto the engine fix it? and will the hf harness plug up to the dizzy?

Swapping engines usually creates problems that are hard to diagnos from behind a computer screen. It could be as simple as a crimped wires to incompatibility problems with the engine and the host car components...

I don't know, give it a try...
