i busted my antenna off so i could use it to pop the lock when i locked my keys in my car. it worked but now i need to replace the antenna.

the antenna sticks out of the top of the A-pillar and seems to have some funky screws holding it in place. anyone have to go thru this and how did you replace it ?
item #24 is listed as the antenna, is that all i need to replace it?

You'll want to attach a piece of wire to the end of the old antenna wire as you pull it out through the pillar though, otherwise, you'll have a hella time trying to route the new antenna cable.

 

i actually have to disconnect the antenna wire from the back of the radio? ugh. i might just splice it in near the roof.
