What to expect from TEIN full coil over kits
I'm interested in putting TEIN SS kit on my 95 rs with an H22 in it and I'm wondering what to expect? From what I understand this kit has fully adjustable dampening so it can go from factory ride to fairly firm track quality ride. But I guess I need to know what that means, when it is set to a factory like ride will it corner and handle better then factory suspension? If set to a medium setting, not too soft not too hard will I need a kidney belt to drive the car? Oh and will I need a camber kit or is there a way of controlling the camber with the stock kit? If anyone has used this setup please let me know your experience.
you will need a camber kit if youre going to drop it past an inch or so. Ive riden in my friends gsr with the Tein SSs at 3-4 clicks from the stiffest setting and it wasnt that bad. He set it to all the way soft one time and it was really too soft for the spring rate and became bouncy. Id suggest half way or maybe a click or two on the firmer side of halfway.
I have Tein SS and I have it at 16 in the rear and 12 up front and I like it pretty good... Probably gunna just crank up the front to 16. and you don't need a camber kit!! Set the toe to 0 and you will be fine...
