Default strange annoying noise 92 gsr

I need help with a noise that seems to be comming from the right front of the engine bay. It sounds like a some sort of pumping noise. Like old hotwater pipes that rattle when you turn on the shower. I have read other posts that suggest it might be the ABS pump. My ABS light is not on and the brakes seem to work fine. If I turn the car off when rolling down a hill while it is making the noise, the noise goes away. The noise happens with or without the clutch engaged and with or without being in gear. It is horrible. Please help.

its more than likely your abs pump...it makes a dolphine like sound..its quite common for our generation car......the cars ABS will work fine it just circulates quite often and it can get annoying. mines would always make noises when i first started the car.. or was at a stop making a sharp turn. After a few weeks i just disabled and removed abs all together.

If the noise bothers you and abs isnt a priority you can always just remove the three fuses in the underhood fuse box. this will make you throw a ABS light on your dash. I just cut the wire for the dash light since i no longer had abs. good luck
