I was taking out a water pump bolt out of my h22 and i snapped it, and was wondering if anyone nose of a good way of taking it out, i was on that snapped nere the engine mount, and snapped right flush with the block, any tips would be great..

 

pick up a set of bolt removers. Sears sells them. I think they are called Easy outs or something like that. The easy part is all hype but it's either that or you will have to fully drill it out and re-thread it. If you do drill it out make sure you use a bit that will not drill out the threads. Then use a tap and die set to remake the threads. Sucks.... Just make sure you do everything from the very center of the bolt and make sure you have plenty of room to go in perfectly strait!

 

The easy outs are used w/ a drill, i believe. Which means you're gonna have a HARD time getting that bolt out!

 

It was a pain, but i did get it out and works without a leak so far. Thanx..
