How easy/hard is it to install HID kits...like the philips one?
I might be getting a good deal on a "purple" HID kit that's 6000k.
No idea what 6000k is supposed to be for, but I understand that philips is like 4000~4300k....
So what the heck is this 4000, 6000k? I'm guessing they're brighter?

Installation...very easy. Takes more time figuring out where you want to place the ballast than actually doing it.
What about HID's color?
The color of the light source is expressed as its color temperature. As the color temperature increases, the color of the light moves from yellow to white to blue-white. HID headlights provide light at a higher color temperature than standard halogen headlights, which gives them a crisp white appearance. The table below shows the color temperature of various light sources. As a reference, sunlight at noon is 5250°K

I found this by doing a search on the internet. Here is where I got my information.

Just so everyone knows. The other night a friend of mine came over to show off his IS300 that he just got off the dealership floor. He turned on his lights, and low and behold, they are just like mine. Exactly. From a deep blue, to bright white. Just like mine. I turned on mine, and they were exactly the same.

To 2001 Integra GSR: So you're saying you have this Xenon Kit installed?
Similar to Lexus is good. so This kit is better than Philips kit?
how much is the kit gonna be?
I'm in if the price is reasonable...

Ok, first of all, I don't know what type of kit the starter of this thread, Low Kee, is selling. All I am saying is, if it is a Phillips kit that is being sold here on this thread, then it is very simple to install. I paid roughly $400 for my Phillips kit. I do not know how much Low Kee is selling his kits for.
Yes, my friend has a brand new Lexus IS300 that he just bought Saturday (October 20th, 2001), and he showed me his H.I.D. lights. I turned my Phillips H.I.D. lights on, and they were exactly the same as his.

Im still working on getting the kits. They are Philips kits that use both a Philips bulb and ballast. The difference with this kit is that the kits was designed to fit our cars. Its not a "home-made" kit, the company actually spent the money to make a proper kit for 9006 bulbs. (none of this drilling stuff). I've been checking out different Xenon kits for a while and this one is by far the nicest I've seen.

If it's Philips Ballast and it's 9006 D2S type for Integra, also at around $400 dollars, count me in.
If you can, post some actual pictures of the kits. Thanks.
