Nice DIY job!

Hey, I noticed that you put the O2 in the stock location. I don't have first hand experience with this, but from what I have read it's a bad idea. Apparently the manifold gets rediculously hot compared to if it were on a non-turbo engine. This leads to the O2 frying out.

just curious from lookin at the pics i did not notice an external gate, how is the boost regulated at 9 psi, when the factory spring, depending upon year is set at either 11.5 or 14.5 psi?

damn I kinda like and can appercatie the DIY turbo kits and all but your car looks nastey... and ghetto rigged....
I would be scared as hell going into boost....

also why spend money on a aem fuel rail?

keep in mind, cheap & boost does not belong in the same sentance.

props though bro. atleast you didn't go over kill on the FMIC

the bumper is just temporary. i just finished this kit two days ago and i havent had time to chop up the bumper support and the bumper cover to put it back on.

about the wastegate.. i have washers and a longer bolt holding on the wastegate so it is basically adjustable now.

I have been running my O2 sensor in the "stock" location for 3 years now with no problems. It will be just fine the way it is.

btw, the AEM fuel rail cost me $20 and its a lot more convenient to mount my adjustable FPR and gauge together instead of having the gauge all on the fuel filter and ****.

with all the parts on the car right now (i still have some "upgrade" items to install later), i spent maybe $1000 if that.

Longer gears.. BUT, an Si tranny might still be be better with slicks at the track, depending on the HP. I really can't say for sure.. but if i had that setup i'd be pulling the DX tranny out of the scrap pile to try it.

same concept as ss brake lines; the zip ties prevent flexing.
