Default Terrible Crash

What's the worst thing that could happen when you are racing? If you're on the same page as me, it occurred early morning October 21 in Fremont, CA. My friend Eric passed away on his drive home after kickin it wid some of my friends. Supposedly he got on the freeway (680) where he encountered 3 other cars racing. Of course, he joined in with his lude. Within a few minutes it was all over. Eric lost control and flew off a hill where he died instantly. All in all, 4 cars were involved in the crash and 4 people ended up dying including my good friend Eric.

Well i guess, im writing this in memory of him and to let you guys know to be careful out there when you race your cars. the ride and adrenaline may be exhilirating, but keep in mind that it's also dangerous. keep it safe guys......and keep ridin.........

RIP eric

i just hope your friends death will save someone elses
people don not realize that these are not racecars, they come from the factory with no roll cage or other race setup. There is a time and a place for racing, the track. Movies like the fast and the Furious and others, although fairly entertaining movies, lead to this mentality that you put some aftermarket **** on your car and you are an experienced racecar driver. I have been on the track two times and realize how little the average driver knows about how to drive. My first lap around the track I almost looped my car around because I thought I knew what I was doing. I am sorry to hear of your friends untimely death and I will keep him in mind next time I want to give someone hell on the roadway. Remember to keep your head on when driving because there is a lot more goin gon than you realize.

Unfortunately from the early teens to late twenties a lot of folks forget they're mortal.

My condolences to you and his family, no pain greater !. However, I am always a bit confused when one states these days that he/she "lost control", for loss of control occured when he/she exceeded that particula velocity (10mph, 50mph, ??). On the Freeway one needs to drive for no less than five other people at the same time. Keep it safe.......Keep it on the Track. Sorry again..... Mike
