i was seeing if a fuel rail for a eg civic would fit my car, got it in and swapped the 1 fuel hose thats dif, got it all on there right, and tried to start it.
it would crank like it was starting but would never start. so i put all my stock stuff back on and still does the same thing and wont start. HELP i have to go somewhere in a couple hours.

did u mess with the dizzy at all? check that to see if you are getting spark....is fuel pump comin on? listen for it....that might be the problem...

 

should be a simple swap... when you drain rail it takes a couple of seconds of cranking to get fuel pressure back up before it will start... the other thing i could thin of is there was dirt in eg rail and it cloged injectors? pull rail off and check litle filters in top of injectors... good luck

 

mannn it was something stupid, the ground from valve cover to chassis was off i forgot to put it back on. i didnt think it mattered that much. o well

and for the fuel rail swap, its not working. i had to swap on of the fuel lines from the rail, and had it all bolted up, but when i went to crank it gas started shooting out near the top of on of the injectors...

nowww i cant get it off cuz i think i broke one of the bolts but, im gonna put the z6 intake mani on tomorrow..its better than the a6 mani is it?
