Default Need Opinions of Future Engine Mods

At the moment my car has an AEM Cold Air Intake. I'm looking to get both these two mods in the future but I can't decide which to get first.

I'm looking to get close to 200WHP with both hopefully.

My main question for you guys is what do you think I should invest in first for power and money purposes.

A) Toda Header
B) Type One Exhaust (I like the exhaust so far from the clips I've heard on here but I do realize it is LOUD)

Would anyone recommend any other options exhaust wise? looking for something that really complements the engine.

You will need to do more than that to get 200 hp at the wheels.
Dyno your car now and see where you stand at the moment.

You won't approach 200 peak whp w/ any or all of those mods. Not even close. Do some research via the search function on set ups that are making that power, it's not so easy (trust me, I am there and it wasn't cheap).

Cams, pistons, port and polish head and some serious tuning might get you there.

JDM 4-1, 2.5 resonated testpipe and T1R exhaust = 179whp for me. With stock air filter with 60k miles

You should really baseline your car at the dyno as mentioned above...it will give you a starting point and a realistic view of what needs to be done.

There are a few people who have low 190's with the full HyTech exhaust setup on their R's. Tuning + a few other minor boltons will push you close to 200whp. Cams are the easiest way to break 200whp, stock ITR cams are more than capable, but just take more money to do so.

it will be expensive to reach 200whp

How close would a full SMSP setup come to 200WHP, anyone have a guess? Headers back to Exhaust. My friend has the full setup and is selling it (r1zen)

200 whp is a hard goal to hit with just bolt ons.

And plus not all dynos will tell you the same thing.

not only u need cams, but using the right cams for different reasons. depending if u want where ur power band to be.

definitely higher compression pistons and tuning.

its gonna be expensive alright

you can go rice and go nitrous. or get cams and simple bolt ons such as i/h/e and lots of tuning.

nitrous would probably be the easiest way to get to 200whp, it gets quite expensive and inconvinience of refills, for few quick thrills here and there nitrous is best bang for money!

I think folks have hit high 180's with the smsp setup and hytech setup. Don't quote me on that. 20 whp have been gained with these setups but that still will not let you hit 200 whp. You obviously need more research man.

Like the others have said do a baseline first and work from there. Some cars dyno higher than others even when completely stock.
