loud thunk when i let off the gas
i just bought a g3 integra that has some issues (needs tie rod ends, LBJ's, axles). well... i just replaced all that stuff and now when i let off the gas in 1st or 2nd when i'm 3000rpm or higher it goes CKKKK. on the driver side axle the outside part of it (that goes into the hub assembly) moved and twisted with ease, while the inside was hard to turn and twist. on the passenger side it was the opposite, the outside (the part that goes into the hub assembly and twists when you turn your wheel) was hard to move..
so i decided to ask the gurus :D
any ideas?
i have lifetime warranty on these autozone rmfg'd axles...
sounds like a short gear grind almost...

take the dead body out of the trunk- that should help get rid of some of the noises-
Replace the axles and then proceed from there- you'll have to just take one thing at a time to get everything taken care of
