i've seen a few crx's with exhaust cutouts on the passenger side and it looks stock. Is this a custom job or what? If it is custom, could somebody do a writeup or an explanation of how to do it. TIA
Are you talking about one of those cutout vavles? If so they are generally illegal in many states. With that-you will have to go to a muffler shop to have the piping fabricated. Our race exhaust is a straight thru type with the exhaust legally positioned behind the driver and exiting in front of the passenger rear wheel. Meineke did the work for me and it works just fine with the mufflers under the tunnel.
Just dremel the pass. side and sand it smooth. I saw a post a while back on how to fill the drivers side the right way, forgot what the title was though

Model X made a template of his drivers side cutout and made the exact cut on the opposite side and then filled the drivers side hole with the cutout from the passenger side......not sure how he got it so clean looking, dosn't even look like their was a cutout on the drivers side before.

Yes it does. Just a quick glance will make it look "oem" though
I have see a bone stock CRX like this and wondered if there was a special/LE crx that had it?

this is exactly how u do it cut out the exact size from the passenger side to match the drivers side
and then well u decide how much u want to spend to fill the gaps
either bondo or fiberglass as I think it is the best way to do it
I did this to make a EG mugen exhaust fit on my sedan>>>>
weird huh but I like being different still JDM
