does anyone know everything I need to have a JDM 4-1 header and an apexi WS exhaust fit my '01 GSR? I've been to minty's site before, but i was wondering sine his was a '98, if there would be any differences between a '98 and my '01.

 

There should be no differences. Both are OBD-2 models and that would really be the only thing to look out for.

 

hm...are you sure? Because isn't the cat. convt. longer for the '00 '01 gsr's? i just wanted to know that since i'm gonna have to get a new cat. convt. for the jdm 4-1 header, would it be alright to have a exhaust made for a 94-99 gsr?

 

Yes, there is a HUGE difference. The 2000+ switched to the RS/LS/GS/Type-R b-pipe length. But that wont really matter. Just get any exhaust for a 00+ GS-R or 94+ RS/GS/LS or 97+ ITR and it'll fit perfectly with the JDM ITR 4-1 and the carsound cat provided by Import-Specialists/SMSP/IPS Racing/etc.

 

No. The 94-99 GS-R is either 5 inches too long or too short.. I forget which. But either way, it wont fit right.

 

hey the 94-99 b-pipe would be about 5 inches too long It took me about 2 and 1/2 months to get the correct b-pipe for my sedan now that I got it

 

i dont think they make an apex ws exhaust for the 00+ gsr

order the one for the type R
