Default Ran open turbo, carbon everywhere, HELP!!

Hey guys, i need help getting this junk off bc my car was run with no downpipe and there is carbon everywhere. So far i tried greases lightning and super7, but the super7 kinda hurt the paint, is there anything i can use to get this junk off without hurting the paint?
Here's my progress so far on the hood, i didnt get a before pic of the engine bay, but here it is after.. you can see its still tinted, it should be white!!

lots of simple green/gunk. I did the same thing dirivng to the shop to get a dp made.

simple green works great

i used it on my corroded engine and it worked wonders

I'd take the hood off and then clean it. Otherwise all that crap is going to drip all over your engine bay.

yeah, i was going to take the hood off, but i had nothig in the engine bay for a little while anyway, so i tried just cleaning it on and it kind of worked. I tried simple green and it didnt touch the stuff. The motor covered up most of the spots on the engine bay that were ruined, so i will prob just take off the hood and work with that... i am sprayin my molding and sides white, i might just resrpay the underside of the hood as well.

what about pressure washing it once the hood is off?

like others mentioned use simple green. and also try a power washer.

How about you simple green it and wash the simple green off with a pressure washer..

Try orange clean, you have to wash it off quick b/c it will eat away at the paint. Very abrasive.
