Bang for the Buck racing
If you think about it, road courses actually offer the most fun per dollar:
You pay 20 USD to get 10 runs (if you are lucky) at the drag strip - each run is approximatly 15 seconds - 150 seconds for 20 USD = 13 cents second
20 USD to get 4 runs at an auto-x - each run is approximately 45 seconds - 180 seconds for 20 USD = 11 cents per second
road course costs 150 USD a day, 4 runs with each run lasting 15 minues - 1 hr (3600 seconds) of racing for 150 USD = 4 cents per second
Yes, I am bored, too much free time on my hands

If your in the Seatle area, add about $395 for the performance driving school you'll have to take before you can participate in any other event. What does that come out to now?
