*** replaced IGNITOR now car won't start!!!! ... help
1993 accord
ex
auto
msd 6al
blaster 2 coil
had msd unit for about 2years now w/out any issues & total of roughtly 50-60,000miles
My tach was jumping up and down the past few days and people said i should replace my ignitor. The car starts up every time 100% how ever the needle on the TACH bouches up/down every 5 sec.
So people said I should replace the IGNITOR and ROTOR. Which I did got to honda and get them for ($135 total)
As for the MSD cap I just scraped off some of the corrosion rather then spending $45 on a new MSD cap.
I but everything back together and did mark the distributor so I would have the same timing. Now... when i start the car it cranks but it does NOT TURN OVER...

well it sounds like maybe you mixed up one of the wires on the igniter.
have you tried swapping the old igniter back in? even though it had a fucked up tach, it ran the car... that will let you know if maybe you got a bad igniter from honda

there were only 3 plus into the ignitor. Also they are pretty much already "inplace" becuase of the wire lenght and how they are layed out inside the dizzy. ... know what i mean.
I'm 99% sure i did not mix it up but I'll check it out tonight and if anything try swaping it.
thanks
