Default if i go turbo would i need a whole new front bumper

would i need a whole new front bumper if i turbo my f23 accord?

cus im thinking of getting either a front lip or a body kit, but if i get a lip and later end up getting a body kit i would be wasting money :/

http://www.accordracing.com/fe....html
has a turbo and a body kit and u can see the intercooler from the front

has a turbo but it only has a wings west lip

does a body kit even matter in this case or does it let more air in or something?

you dont NEED a body kit or anything of that sort. you can still use your stock bupmer but it may need some hacking to fit an intercooler

most of the intercooler would fit without much cutting.

if youre purchasing a kit usually the intercooler is pretty easy fitment, if your doing custom like stated above might need a little hacking of the support... and depending on the size of the ic your going to get...

If you buy the turbo kit that is made for your car, you shouldn't have any problems mounting the front mount intercooler. The company already made the intercooler to fit the car.

or u could purposly get a ridiculously huge intercooler made for an FD or GTR Skyline, and then cut ur bumper to make it all fit.......either way ur fine.....if u go into the picture thread, ull see plenty of fmic's
BTW, the second picture isnt turbo.....at least not when they took the pic of the engine bay.......

my stock 94-95 bumper had to be hacked a bit but my stock 96-97 bumper fit like a glove with the intercooler.

edit: n/m you're a 6th gen

I've got a lip with my intercooler. The majority of the cutting was done to the stock bumper (right behind the front plate mount). I only had to slightly cut into the lip, and that's where the passenger side piping is

The 2nd Accord that you posted doesn't even have a turbo. Just an N/A H22.
