I was looking on eBay for 98+ Accord stuff and found two listings for "JDM" Accord engines....http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...%3AIT and http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...%3AIT....I search all over the internet and I couldn't find any JDM specific 2.3 liter(f23a?)engines at all. All I found were the 3 that we get in North America...the f23a1,a4, and a5.....so what are these guys selling? Do higher horse-power f23's exist? Thanks.....by the way, I emailed them both and I'll post any answers I get from them as to HP numbers etc....

 

those can be found in some asian countries, i know for sure taiwan got the 6th gen sedan with the same f23, with less emission stuff maybe 1-2 hp increase by that.
(pretty much the same family sedan we got here)

all the usdm comes with a silver valve cover.

 

anyone else have any info?

That sucks. I was hoping to find a swap that was less then a H22.....

 

Is it possible to swap in a f22b dohc? Would it be worth the extra 10 HP?

 

an f22b dohc is from a 92-96 prelude, so yes it is possible but its going to be some work since the car will need to be converted to obd1.
