Default Cyls 1 and 3 missfiring, d16y8

Well I've gotten rid of 4 of the 6 cells, and it is now just missfiring in cyls 1 and 3. I used a timing light and it seems to be good, not sure what else it could be. Any one have any ideas? I am thinking cap/rotor problem? Thanks in advance!

\\EDIT: I have tried everything I can think of. The cap/rotor/plugs/wires are all new. It is only missfiring in cyls 1 and 3. Wtf else could it be? Need to fix this car ASAP.

I had the same problem after swapping intake manifolds and it turns out one injector clip was not pressed down all the way. That cause the #3 to get intermittent fuel which in turn made the computer think #1 was misfiring also.

that could be it, too! We are going to check the firing order and push in the injectors. If it still is throwing a CEL, ill replace the cap and rotor

I checked the firing order -- all good. The cap and rotor SEEM fine, but Ill replace them anyway. The intake mani isnt bolted on totally tight, maybe thats it. Gonna check that later today.

Also, tranny fluid is leaking out of the cvs but they feel tight? Why?
