What kinda wiring for a obd2 b18c in a 91 integra?
I need to know what kind of wiring changes must occur to install an obd2 b18c motor into my 91 gs integra. I am not new to this type of swap, just want to know if anyone has already encountered any special problems with this swap. Does anyone know of any drawbacks of using the gs manual trans with this motor?
look in the teg tips for engine swaps at http://www.g2ic.com there is a detailed write up written by one of the members hope that helps
use your harness that is already in the car , just add / change the wires that you need . try get ahold of a old issue of hondatuning (eric agular is on the cover) basically tells you how to do the conversion
using your gs tranny will have you fall out of vtec between shifts. try and get short gear tranny like an s1 or the oh so rare ys1 from a gsr. but you can use the tranny for the time being.
use your stock alternator/distributor/injectors/im sensors and don't worry about wiring at all.
And your gs tranny will only drop you out of vtec between shifts if you don't redline it.
