under the axle exhaust?
I was wondering if is possible to run an under-the-axle- exhaust on a 1992 Integra lowered 2in. I heard that in Japan most exhausts are under the axle and the exhaust are under the axle on USDM Accords and Preludes. I was wondering if it was possible at all or if any aftermarket exhaust are built this way. If so it would be alot easier for me to build my new exhaust.

You can definately do that but on a street car it would be pointless because you have a very high chance of bottoming it out.
The reason for under the axle is to eliminate the large bend over the control arm.

Yup. Unless your car is extensively built or turboed, i doubt youll see that much of a difference from an under axle exhaust. And as stated above, it'll up the risk of bottoming out, and ruining the custom piping you paid for
