Which is a better turbo kit Greddy or Apexi?
I just recently swapped a Jdm D15b into my 92 civic hatchback vx. Which is a better kit I want atleast 200hp and be able to run mid 13's or better. Please help I want to buy a turbo kit within 2 weeks.I've searched but no one seems to post anything about turbo D15's.
You should get the Greddy because they're more readily availble. I have the Greddy kit for my D16Y7 and it works great. My friend has the Apexi kit and it cost him $500 to get the turbo rebuilt from Majestic. I believe it would have only cost about $150 if he had a Greddy.
if you dont know much about turbos and tuning, id get the greddy kit
the apex kit doesnt come with much except for a nice turbine, but then again, you gotta pay more to maintain it since its ball bearing.
Greddy: simple, plug and play, cheap...may not be carb legal on your motor
apex: doesnt come with fuel managment i belive, so id say its more for the experienced...you get what you pay for...then again, ive seen people pushing 200+ with the greddy kit anyways.

GReedy is a more complete kit, but the turbo and FMIC from Apexi are a hell of a lot better. But then again I just like Apexi better.
