Should I go with plain out H22 or H23 bottom with H22 head?
I was wondering should I go with just an h22 engine or H23 block, basically the whole bottom end with an H22 head b/c I wanna go with boost later,Probably a T3/04 or highest but Im not 2 knowledgable on the h22 swap, and what internals should I be using, Im wondering If prelude type-s pistons would work?Pllz help me?
hmm where should i start. first learn what an engine is before you decide to go boost. you can acquire an actual H23A which is h23 bottom end with a h22 head which comes in the accord wagon in japan, might be tuff to find but if you do find it then
to ya, otherwise just get a H22A, its not worth all the work of getting a h23 bottom for a minimal gain esp when h22a's are cheap already.
if you have the $ to burn then sleeve the bottom end, get 9.5 JE pistons and some crower rods and you will be set for boost. prelude type s pistons will work, but why?

If you plan on making a h23vtec... i suggest you read up on the thread in the prelude forum. There is plenty of information there.
If you can get an H23 for free than it is totally worth building an H23 Vtec... I would do a LOT of research first...
