What should I set my NGK Temp 7 BKR7E Gap At? Built H22A See Setup Here
Ok guys. The following is my setup.
Portflow Ported Head
Skunk2 Stage II Camshafts
STR Adjustable Cam Gears
Portflow Valvetrain
Portflow Titanium Retainers
OEM Head Gasket w/ Middle Layer Removed
Stock Block
Hondata Intake Manifold Gasket
CAI, DC Sports 4-2-1 Header, Greddy SP Exhaust w/ Straight Pipe
I'm about to get tuning w/ Hondata. Before I tune, I'm going to switch to a colder plug, the NGK BKR7E Temp 7 Spark Plugs.
What do you guys think I should gap it at?
Hopefully I will be able to see 205WHP+ and maybe it'll bring me into the 12s in a Civic.

They are pregapped. However, when you run colder plugs, people usually gap them smaller.

What compression are you running? I wouldn't use a 7 heat range plug unless you are having some sort of trouble with the stock heat range. You see people running smaller gaps on colder plugs when they are running boost. I see no need to run smaller than the stock .044 in your case, and you may be able to get away with a larger gap.
You WILL foul the colder plugs, as they don't get hot enough to burn off carbon deposits. If you aren't running any sort of FI you don't need them. If you end up using them anyway you will find that you need to change them on a monthly basis.
