Aight...in the "downgrade process" from Ricer to Racer. H22 swap and everything....

Have got rid of the kit, and the tails (atlthough they're not off in the pic). Now need Opinions on the wheels.

I'm goin with the BFG G-Force Drag Radials for great grip or slicks, with the great "street legal" plus.


Now my wheels are either the Rota Slipstreams in black :

Now ANYONE heard anything good about these black racings? I know they're supposed to be light as **** and all....but what do ya think? Check out the zoom pic.

everyone and thier mom has rota's. Why get light rims ?
everyone says a 14lb rim is awesome, 12lb rim, etc.. but guess what...

you still have stock civic susspension componets, still 4x100, still have heavy *** brake componets, and a car that runs 14-17 seconds in a qtr mile. Thoose rota's/light rims won't do jack **** for you. As far as looks, well.. again your just gonna look like the next thread.

Ha...my thoughts exactly. See my problem is I can't hook up at the track worth a ****. I still ran a 9.013 in the 1/8th (and it was my first time EVER at the track). So I'm goin with 15s and some of those BFG G-Force Drag Radials:

And i was liking the Black Racings, but wondering if maybe the slipstreams have an advantage that I'm kinda over-looking. I've got springs and suspension components ordered.

And YES i am actually. They're actually RacingHart CP-035s. (Around $400 a piece online) wrapped in a fairly good set of Falken FK451 215/35ZR18s. (Also around $160 a piece online) Interested? I'm pretty much GIVING them away. make an offer

i wouldnt sell tha rims.. those are MONEY!!

they look ill - i would buy tha set of rota'z & keep tha RH'z too no prob w/ havin 2 sets of wheels.. 1z for show- others for GO...

between tha 2 cars that i have i have 6 sets of rims...

 

I really like those black racing rims... They look hot! We need more reviews on them...
